High-motor UNCW guard with clutch-shot DNA
In the 2016-17 season, Denzel Ingram emerged as a dependable playmaking guard for UNCW, averaging 14.2 points and 5.4 assists while leading the CAA in assists per game and ranking among the nation’s better assist-to-turnover players. He’s the kind of backcourt engine coaches love: tough, composed, and capable of creating shots late, including multiple buzzer-beater-style moments for the Seahawks. His value goes beyond the box score—he brings urgency, poise, and a little bit of “give me the ball, I’ve got this” swagger.
