Braden Regala brings sneaky-extra pop and speed to ACU’s outfield
Braden Regala, a sophomore outfielder for Abilene Christian, looks like a classic “don’t blink” catalyst: he has shown gap power, the ability to drive the ball for extra bases, and enough speed to impact games on the bases. In 2025, he hit .294 with a .396 on-base percentage and 23 walks, and in 2026 he already flashed multi-RBI pop, including a three-run homer against TCU and a 2-for-5, two-steal game in an upset of No. 17 Dallas Baptist. He also plays with an energized, hometown-edge profile that ACU fans can rally behind.
