a steady, versatile Charlotte guard with veteran polish
Drew Edwards has been a reliable two-way guard for Charlotte, with a reputation for scoring in bunches, rebounding above his position, and bringing veteran poise. In the 2019-20 season, he started all 29 games and averaged 4.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game across his Charlotte career, with a 32.1% mark from three and 76.6% from the line. He stands out more for toughness, experience, and feel than flash; that’s the kind of glue-guy profile coaches usually love.
