Reina Zermeno is SJSU’s power-spark middle infielder with postseason pop
In the 2026 season, Reina Zermeno was San José State’s offensive engine, finishing with a .376 average, .745 slugging percentage, .441 on-base percentage, 38 RBIs, 10 home runs, and 53 hits, while ranking second in the Mountain West in triples and third in slugging. She’s more than a stat line: she brings extra-base thunder, clutch production, and consistency, with a run of big games that included multiple-homer outings and a perfect 3-for-3 day vs. No. 22 Grand Canyon. If your team wants an INF/UT bat with middle-of-the-order bite, she’s a fit.
