Gus Rogers brings left-handed depth and upside to the Privateers’ bullpen
In the 2026 season, Gus Rogers is a 6-foot-3 left-handed pitcher for New Orleans who profiles as a useful strike-throwing arm with multi-inning relief value and some starter history behind him; his 2024 Gateway CC work included 13 appearances, 9 starts, and 57.1 innings, while New Orleans listed him among its key relievers entering 2025. He was also a highly regarded Oregon prep arm, ranked 21st overall and 3rd among lefties in Oregon, which hints at real ceiling. If a team wants a lefty who can give competitive innings and offer roster flexibility, he’s a name worth caring about.
