Austin Awad is a spacing-first wing who can heat up fast from deep
Awad’s value is his shooting gravity: in his best stretches, he has shown real three-point burst, including six made threes in a game and a career-high 19 points on efficient perimeter shooting, while Winthrop’s roster notes also show he has been a productive part-time scorer and rebounder. [2][5][6][7] At 6'6", he gives you size on the wing and a clear fit if your team needs floor spacing and a catch-and-shoot threat more than a high-usage creator. [4][7] The main question is consistency, since his broader stat line has been modest, but the upside is a role player who can change defensive positioning when his shot is falling. [3][7]
