Reggie Kloehn brings verified toughness, but still has a small sample at SDSU
Reggie Kloehn is a 6-foot-1, 270-pound redshirt freshman defensive tackle at South Dakota State who arrives with a rugged Wisconsin résumé and all-state honors, including being a Tim Krumrie Award finalist as one of the state’s top defensive linemen. His biggest differentiator is disruption: in high school he posted back-to-back monster seasons with 70 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 2 sacks as a junior, then 71 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 2 sacks as a senior. He looks like a hard-nosed interior fit, but there’s still no meaningful college stat line yet, so the appeal is projection and physicality.
