Johnson is a high-upside Arizona State defensive back whose value comes from versatility, physicality, and special-teams impact rather than gaudy box-score numbers. In 2024, he redshirted but still flashed in limited action, including a pivotal onside-kick recovery against BYU that helped swing momentum, and he finished the season with three tackles.
