Jalen Seegars brings low-usage guard minutes, steady rebounding, and defensive hustle for UNC Asheville
Jalen Seegars profiles as a rotational guard who contributes in the margins: in the 2018–19 season, he averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 20.8 minutes across 29 games with 15 starts for UNC Asheville, while ESPN lists his career college production at 3.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. His value is less about shot volume and more about steady, physical minutes, with evidence of steal-and-finish instincts and the kind of effort plays coaches trust. If you need a guard who can defend, rebound his position, and fit a team-first role, he’s the type to study.
