Jacoby Ross brings veteran SWAC guard savvy to Alcorn State
Jacoby Ross is a compact, experienced floor general whose value has long come from steadiness, scoring touch, and knowing how to navigate SWAC basketball. In the 2020-21 season at Alcorn State, he appeared in 5 games and averaged 5.6 points per game, but his bigger appeal is the track record behind that small sample: he was the 2017-18 SWAC Freshman of the Year and had already shown he could score efficiently enough to be a trusted backcourt piece. If your team needs poise, toughness, and a guard who has seen plenty of high-leverage league action, he fits the bill.
