In the 2025-26 season, Malachi Brown emerged as a steady, high-usage guard for Georgia State, averaging 12.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game while starting nearly every night.[6] He also showed real shot-making pop, including a career-high 26 points with eight rebounds and six assists against Coastal Carolina in 2026, which is the kind of all-around burst coaches love in a lead guard.[11] The appeal: toughness, two-way activity, and enough creation to keep an offense moving — a strong fit if you want a guard who competes, defends, and doesn’t shy away from the moment.[1][6]
