Rutgers' Damian Weaver: High School Phenom Evolving into Collegiate Pin Machine
Damian Weaver, a Rutgers freshman/junior wrestler competing at 165-184 lbs, showcases explosive finishing power with a lightning-quick 1:16 pin over Centenary's Luke McGovern in the 2025 season and gritty early wins like at the Wilkes Open (2023-24). A three-time NJ state qualifier in high school with 112 career wins (71-8 last two seasons) and back-to-back Bergen County titles, his non-stop intensity and wrestling pedigree make him a rising force—perfect for teams needing dynamic, high-upside talent with proven clutch pinning ability.
