Swingman with strikeout feel, but command still swings the verdict
In the 2026 season, Landen Yorek has been a versatile right-hander for USF, working both as a starter and reliever, including a quality start against UCF and multiple multi-inning outings[1][13]. His 2025 stat line shows the profile clearly: 23 appearances, 3 starts, 3–3, 6.23 ERA, 31 strikeouts in 34.2 innings, 5 saves, and a .228 opponent average[1]. The appeal is the arm talent and flexibility; the concern is consistency, as he has also had short, rough starts this season. Good fit if a staff wants an experienced, competitive RHP who can cover innings and handle leverage, not a finished product[1][2][15].
