Tymere Jackson brings real edge-production and size to Texas State
Texas State’s 6-foot-5, 235-pound senior edge defender posted a breakout 2025 season with 32 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 2 pass breakups, showing disruptive length and legitimate backfield juice rather than just empty hustle. He also looked sturdy and available, with ESPN and Texas State listing him as a senior contributor after playing meaningful snaps late in 2024 and emerging into a bigger role in 2025. The fit is appealing for teams that want a long, physical edge who can collapse plays, chase from the backside and offer developmental upside rather than polished finished-product production.[1][3][4][7]
