Eli Yamanaka brings right-handed depth and transfer experience to LMU’s bullpen
Eli Yamanaka is a right-handed pitcher who arrived at Loyola Marymount for the 2026 season after developing at Santa Rosa Junior College, and he gives the Lions a sturdy, mature arm with real transfer value. The clearest differentiator is his profile: 6'1", 204 lbs, right/right, with a background that suggests a pitcher built to handle contact and innings rather than flash. LMU’s roster lists him as a transfer pitcher/first baseman for 2026, and that kind of two-way versatility signals a competitive, team-first fit.
