Will Ross is becoming a dependable Friday-night type arm for North Florida
In the 2025 season, North Florida right-hander Will Ross showed a real step forward, going 4-1 with a 2.10 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 34.1 innings, while the Ospreys noted he was a consistent starter and had the ninth-lowest ERA in the ASUN at one point.[2][4][9] The best part: his strikeout rate jumped hard from 9 K in 19 innings in 2024 to 40 K in 50.2 innings in 2025, and the staff has trusted him both as a starter and a reliever.[2][6][9] At 6-6, 245 with a power-frame and a history of being effective early in outings, he looks like a fit if you want size, innings, and a pitcher who’s trending up.[1][6]
