Luke Pearre brings left-handed upside and local ace credentials to Rhode Island
Pearre enters Rhode Island as a 5'10", 165-pound left-handed pitcher, and the most concrete current signal available is that he remains on the Rams’ 2026 roster; his prep résumé also includes being named Poolesville’s Pitcher of the Year, which points to a pitcher who has already handled an ace-style role[1][2][3]. At 5'10", he likely wins with competitiveness, deception and feel rather than overpowering size, and that makes him an interesting fit for teams valuing strike-throwing lefties who can get outs in different ways[1][3].
