contact bat with speed, but still seeking a bigger role at Indiana State
Carson Cox is a physical right-handed infielder who has shown real offensive upside in past stops, including a .347 season with 44 runs, 15 extra-base hits, and 14 stolen bases at UT Tyler, but his Indiana State sample in 2026 was extremely limited, with just one game and one at-bat. He entered the transfer portal with one year of eligibility left, so the key takeaway is upside rather than current production: he looks like a versatile, competitive player with athletic pop and enough speed to impact a lineup if he earns consistent reps.
