Miami (OH) guard Zach McCormick brings steady backcourt depth and shot-making touch
Zach McCormick profiles as a reliable, undersized combo guard who has provided Miami (OH) with solid rotation minutes and occasional scoring punch, including double-figure outings and a career-high 12 points in his RedHawks tenure. In the 2024-25 data available, he posted 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game, suggesting a role player whose value comes more from guard depth, pace, and experience than from high-volume stats. At 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, he looks like a fit for teams that want a disciplined, low-usage guard who can stabilize the backcourt and contribute without needing the ball a lot.[4][5][6][8]
