Meshayla Pettaway brings speed, versatility, and clutch pop for Alabama State
In the 2026 season, Meshayla Pettaway played in 39 games with 26 starts for Alabama State, hitting .263 with 20 hits, 3 doubles, 4 triples, 11 walks, 8 steals, and a .964 fielding rate; she also flashed big-game value with key extra-base hits and aggressive baserunning, including a home-plate steal in a win over Florida A&M. She’s the kind of 5'1" spark plug who can change an inning with speed, defense, and pressure on the bases—useful if your team wants energy, versatility, and a player who clearly embraces the gritty, do-the-little-things role.
