Tan Yildizoglu is VMI’s high-assist lead guard with two-way upside
Yildizoglu is a fast-improving VMI guard whose value goes beyond scoring: in the 2024-25 season he averaged 10.2 points, 4.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals, and ranked third in the Southern Conference in assists and steals. He also posted a 2.03 assist-to-turnover ratio and has shown he can take over games, including a 15-assist debut and a 25-point outburst at Wofford. He looks like a fit for teams that want a poised, pass-first creator with defensive activity and proven international pedigree, though his shooting consistency is still the swing skill.
