VMI’s do-everything guard with playmaking juice
In the 2025-26 season, Tan Yildizoglu looks like a high-utility guard for VMI: he’s producing around 10.2 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.3 turnovers per game while starting every game and giving the Keydets a steady two-way presence. He already proved he can stuff the box score, including a 22-point, 6-assist outing against Chattanooga in 2026, and his assist numbers have ranked among the Southern Conference’s best in consecutive seasons. The appeal is the combo: legit point-guard instincts, size at 6-foot-4, defensive activity, and a résumé that suggests he can run a team without needing the ball to dominate.
