In the 2025-26 season, Nic McClain has been Belmont’s table-setter and defensive disruptor, averaging 10.4 points, 6.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while leading the Bruins in assists.[2][4][11] His value goes beyond the box score: he’s a high-usage creator who can attack good opponents, has shown burst in pressure games, and at Eastern Washington in the 2024-25 season averaged 15.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.0 steals against Quad 1/2 teams.[1][6] If you want a guard who competes, creates, and brings edge on both ends, McClain is absolutely worth a hard look.[1][6]
