Ace Reese brings left-handed bat speed, middle-of-order production, and SEC-ready power to Mississippi State
Ace Reese is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound infielder who made an immediate impact in his first season at Mississippi State, starting 57 games at third base and leading the Bulldogs in batting average (.352), hits (80), multi-hit games (25), and multi-RBI games (20) in the 2026 season.[2] His appeal goes beyond the stat line: MLB scouting labeled him an overall 55 with a 60-grade power tool, which fits a profile of a physical, run-producing left-handed hitter who can change an offense quickly.[5] He looks like a strong fit for teams needing mature bat-to-ball ability, impact power, and lineup stability.[2][5]
