Arizona’s Swiss-Army OL: Joey Capra brings experience, versatility, and pro-day grit
In the 2024 season, Joey Capra appeared in nine games with three starts for Arizona, mostly stepping in at right tackle after arriving as a late transfer and quickly earning trust in a shaken-up line.[1][2][8] The 6-foot-4, 301-pound redshirt senior has real positional flexibility, prior experience at Nevada and San Diego State, and enough football IQ to be a plug-and-play depth piece or spot starter.[1][4] The downside: his 2024 tape showed some pressure issues, so he looks more like a sturdy, veteran stabilizer than a polished future star.[8][14]
