Simon Linde brings live-armed upside and bullpen flexibility for Butler
In the 2026 season, Butler right-hander Simon Linde profiles as a high-upside arm with a fastball that was described as reaching the low 90s and a breaking ball that could be a difference-maker, while Butler also valued his three-pitch potential and durability when recruiting him. He’s the kind of pitcher who fits a staff looking for competitive stuff and room to grow, though his value will hinge on sharpening command and consistency after mixed early-college results. The big draw: a sturdier arm with real bat-missing potential and a team-first fit.
