Redshirt Junior TE Jacob Amburn Poised for Breakout Season at Stony Brook
At 6'5" and 245 lbs, Amburn brings ideal tight end dimensions and multi-sport pedigree—a four-year captain in both football and lacrosse at Kingswood Oxford School with All-NEPSAC honors. After limited action in 2024 (two games), the Suffield, CT native is entering 2026 as a redshirt junior with significant upside. His combination of size, athleticism, and leadership experience makes him a high-ceiling prospect for teams seeking a developmental tight end who can contribute immediately while growing into a featured role in the Coastal Athletic Association.
