Mercer’s two-way spark with pop, poise, and strikeout upside
Grace Jones is one of Mercer’s most valuable pieces because she impacts the game in the circle and at the plate. In the 2026 season, she hit .313 with 5 home runs, 17 extra-base hits, and 22 RBI while also posting 50 strikeouts in 58.2 innings, earning All-Southern Conference honors for the second straight year. Mercer describes her as a power hitter to all fields who consistently puts the ball in play, and she has the toughness to handle a heavy two-way workload.
