Marlow Gilmore brings efficient scoring and high-flying upside for Western Carolina
As a 2023-24 Western Carolina forward, Marlow Gilmore showed real two-way pop: ESPN lists him at 4.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and a scorching 68.9% field-goal rate, while sources from Francis Marion note he also flashed bigger-game production, including a stretch where he averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals in early January 2024. His calling card is efficiency, athletic finishing and defensive activity, and his dunk-contest appearance underscores the explosiveness that makes him a fit for teams needing energy, rim pressure and a momentum-swinging frontcourt piece.
