Ty Earwood arrives as a fresh lefty arm with upside for Southeast Missouri State
Earwood is a freshman LHP for Southeast Missouri State in the 2026 season, listed at 5-foot-10, 155 pounds and signed out of St. Pius X HS in Platte City, Missouri[1][2]. The key takeaway: he’s still early in his college track, so the real draw is projection, not a stat line yet—there are no published college statistics for him on the team page[4]. He looks like a developmental fit for a staff that can sharpen a young left-hander’s command, tempo, and matchup value, especially if you like taking chances on wiry arms with room to grow[2][5].
