Norfolk State's Intense, Data-Driven Infielder with 5 Stolen Bases and .237 AVG in 2026
Sean Stewart, a 5'9", 165-lb senior infielder for Norfolk State, delivered a gritty 2026 season with a .237 batting average, 18 hits, 13 runs scored, and 5 stolen bases across 29 games. His differentiator is relentless baserunning intensity and a high-energy personality that elevates team morale, even without power hitting (0 HR). Though he has no major injury history, his compact frame demands precise defensive positioning. Stewart is a perfect fit for teams valuing speed, hustle, and data-driven consistency over raw power, making him a reliable, high-intensity asset for any competitive lineup.
