the steady two-way guard who once made Holy Cross hum
Anthony Thompson is a former Holy Cross guard whose game was built on reliability, toughness, and connector skills more than flash. In the 2015-16 season, he played all 35 games, started 33, and averaged 7.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals while ranking among the Patriot League’s better minute-eaters and assist/steal producers. He also showed a real winning-player profile: strong free-throw shooting, leadership traits, and the ability to do a little of everything. If you want a coachable, high-IQ guard who helps organize a team and competes every possession, he’s your kind of guy.
