UCF Senior Kayla Alexandre: The International-Experience Catcher Bringing Reliability to the Knights
Kayla Alexandre, a 5'4" senior catcher for UCF, differentiates herself with **international playing experience** and a **dependable, high-intensity teammate** mentality that balances success on and off the field[6]. While her 2026 offensive role is limited (1-for-2 in two bench appearances, .500 AVG)[1][9], her **defensive reliability** and **veteran leadership** make her a valuable fit for teams needing a steady presence behind the plate who can mentor younger players[6]. Formerly of Florida A&M where she earned SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition in 2024[2], Alexandre brings a **proven resilience** and **offensive potential** (hitting .244 with 7 RBIs as a junior)[2] that, while currently in a reserve role, offers a high floor for defensive consistency and clubhouse culture.
