Alyson Higginbotham brings speed and utility value to Tarleton State’s infield
Alyson Higginbotham is a 5'7" infielder for Tarleton State who, in the 2026 season, has contributed as a contact-oriented depth piece while also showing value on the bases, including a pinch-running appearance that turned into a run in a win over New Mexico.[1][4] She profiles as a role player who can add athleticism, versatility, and bench impact rather than loud power numbers, which makes her interesting for teams needing dependable infield depth and a quick-twitch competitor who can create pressure without the ball.[2][4]
