Davis Mauzy is giving ULM a top-of-the-order spark with bat-to-ball consistency and steady defense
In the 2026 season, Davis Mauzy has been one of ULM’s most reliable bats, hitting .404 with a 1.092 OPS while piling up 78 hits, 21 multi-hit games, and a strong .979 fielding percentage; he was also named to D1Baseball’s Top 100 outfielders. He’s the kind of table-setter coaches love: consistent contact, gap power, speed on the bases, and enough defensive polish to stay in center field. If you want a high-floor outfielder who shows up every day and quietly tilts games, Mauzy fits the bill.
