Barnett Harris brought length, rebounding, and steady veteran value to Delaware
In the 2016-17 season, Barnett Harris was a 6-foot-9 Delaware forward whose game leaned on size, rebounding, and low-usage reliability more than scoring flash: he finished his Blue Hens career with 219 rebounds, 101 points, and 37 blocks across 113 games, and as a senior he was viewed as a leader in a changing program[1][9][15]. His best fit was as a glue guy who could defend, battle on the glass, and stabilize a locker room—less “stat-sheet bully,” more “does the dirty work and knows his role.”[1][15]
