Dominic Nelson is a rim-protecting, rebounding-first veteran center for Southeastern Louisiana
In the 2016-17 season, Dominic Nelson gave Southeastern Louisiana real interior value: 6.4 rebounds per game, 2.3 offensive boards per game, and 62 blocks, good for 1.94 blocks per game and fourth in the Southland Conference while ranking 46th nationally. He wasn’t a high-volume scorer, but his game clearly translated through defense, toughness, and second-chance work—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-impact big man coaches love. If your team needs a physical paint anchor who changes shots and cleans the glass, Nelson fits the bill.
