Yvette Sandifer brings steady backcourt control and sneaky two-way value for Claflin
Yvette Sandifer is a junior guard for Claflin in the 2025-26 season, and she already looks like the kind of player coaches trust when the game gets tight. She posted a season-high 6 assists in Claflin’s 51-48 win over Fayetteville State in 2026, showing real table-setting instincts, and ESPN’s season stats list her with 2.0 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game on limited action. The fit? A connector guard with defensive bite, composure, and enough feel to make teammates better—very much a glue-piece candidate with upside.
