Grace Roark gives Mercer a durable right-handed arm with complete-game upside
Roark is a pitch-to-contact right-hander who showed real innings-eating value for Mercer, posting a 4.23 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 46.1 innings as a freshman in 2024 and already logging multiple complete-game outings in 2026, including a 7.0-inning, 2-run win over Wofford.[1][3] Her profile suggests a coachable starter/rotation fit: not overpowering, but tough enough to keep taking the ball, limit damage, and give her team a chance to win when she is locating well.[1][3][5]
