Ivan Hoyt brings two-way versatility and proven bat speed to Davidson
Hoyt is a **two-way athlete** whose biggest appeal is versatility: at Dartmouth in **2023**, he appeared in 17 baseball games as a position player, started 14, and also made six mound appearances while hitting **.488** with a **0.56 ERA** in limited duty.[3] His prep track record at Cornerstone Christian also flashed impact offense, including a **.506 batting average** and **32 RBI** across 29 games.[1] The fit is intriguing for a staff or lineup that values competitive, multi-role players with upside, especially if you want a tough, high-ceiling competitor who can help in more than one way.[3][1]
