Zavarella brings speed, gap power, and outfield range to Santa Clara
Sofia Zavarella is a Santa Clara outfielder/utility player whose profile is built on athleticism, not just box-score noise: the Broncos’ staff says she “runs well,” has “pop” in her bat, and should help cover outfield gaps while driving balls into the alleys. In 2025, she arrived as a three-time All-Trinity League selection and a former Trinity League Offensive Player of the Year, which signals a proven competitive ceiling against strong prep competition. She looks like a fit for teams that value versatility, pressure on the bases, and defense that expands the strike zone for pitchers.[4]
