Grace O’Malley brings contact pop, speed, and elite academics to Toledo’s infield
O’Malley is a high-IQ infielder who gives Toledo value beyond the box score: she has shown speed, versatility, and steady defensive reliability, while also earning Academic All-MAC recognition and a 4.0 GPA on the President’s List. In the 2024 season, she played 27 games with 15 starts at shortstop, hit her first career home run, and posted a .179 average with a .520 OPS[1]. She looks like a fit for a program that wants a disciplined, team-first glue player who can handle pressure, run the bases, and keep improving offensively.
