Darrian Ringo’s Miami (OH) legacy is all about table-setting and takeaways
Darrian Ringo is a high-IQ Miami (OH) guard whose calling card has been pressure defense and elite playmaking; in 2017-18 he set the school single-season assist record with 236, led the MAC, and added 91 steals, the second-highest total in program history. In 2018-19 he remained a disruptive two-way piece, averaging 7.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game while finishing with 67 steals and earning All-MAC Defensive Team honors. If your team wants a gritty, pass-first guard who changes possessions with his hands and pace, he fits the mold nicely.
