Murray State’s explosive, award-winning lead guard
Payne was a high-end college engine for Murray State, highlighted by a 2015 season with 707 points—the fourth 700-point season in program history—and he was named OVC Player of the Year, earning First-Team All-OVC honors in 2014 and 2015.[1][3] What makes him valuable is the combo of scoring punch, guard instincts, and proven big-stage production; if you want a creator who can carry offense and raise the tempo, he fits. His resume signals impact and confidence, though his profile is more about proven shot-making and leadership than elite size or length.[1][3]
