Jarek Podest brings power-frame upside and bullpen intrigue to Stony Brook
In the 2026 season, Podest has flashed a big-bodied righty profile with strikeout stuff, but the command has been uneven, so his value hinges on whether he can turn raw leverage into cleaner, repeatable outings. Listed at 6-foot-8 and 230 pounds, he has the kind of mound presence that scouts love, and his earlier college work showed he can miss bats when his delivery is in sync. If your team wants a high-upside arm who could climb fast with refinement, he’s a name to watch.
