Zach Saylor brings veteran size, steady boards, and glue-guy energy for CMU
Zach Saylor is a 6-8 forward out of Lansing who has been a long-running, physical presence for Central Michigan, with career stat lines showing modest scoring but reliable rebounding and defense-minded minutes in his CMU years. In the 2013 season, ESPN listed him at 1.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, underscoring that his value is more about effort, positioning, and experience than flashy box-score production[1]. He was also described by CMU as a “key member” and a sixth-year returner, which points to trust, toughness, and veteran stability for a roster[8][9].
