Tom Mahoney gives Northeastern a live, low-drama bullpen arm with innings-handling upside
In the 2026 season, freshman RHP Tom Mahoney has worked as a useful Northeastern relief piece, logging 14.0 innings with 13 strikeouts and a 4.50 ERA while showing he can enter tight spots and throw clean frames. He’s a 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-hander with a sturdy build, and the early read is simple: competitive strike-thrower, calm under pressure, and not afraid of late-game leverage. If your staff wants a young arm with size, poise, and room to grow, Mahoney is absolutely worth a look.
