Daniel Sackey’s steady, low-drama point guard play still pops for the Privateers
In the 2025-26 season, Daniel Sackey is listed with the LSU New Orleans Privateers as a guard and has been producing efficient table-setter numbers, including 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game on 36.9% shooting from the field. He’s the kind of guard who can organize an offense, keep the ball moving, and chip in on the glass, with past UNO notes showing he also handled back-to-back 8-assist games and served as the team’s assist leader. If a team wants a composed, pass-first guard with enough shot-making to keep defenses honest, Sackey is a useful fit.
