Texas’s bruising rim-protector with double-double upside
Ridley’s calling card for Texas was classic old-school center production: physical paint scoring, strong rebounding, and real shot-blocking impact, with a stretch in which he averaged about 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks before a left-foot fracture halted his momentum. He was at his best when he played with force and control around the rim, and his value came from altering possessions on both ends rather than stretch skills or finesse. If you want a low-post anchor who can punish teams inside, Ridley fit; the main concern was durability and how his foot injury affected his availability and mobility.
