Roland McCoy gives Alabama State a proven perimeter scorer with range
McCoy is a guard who has already shown he can carry real offensive load: in the 2023-24 season at UAFS, he ranked second on the team with 12.4 points per game, led the team in minutes, and hit double figures 18 times, including four 20-point games and a 35-point outburst.[1] What makes him useful is the shot-making gravity—he had eight games with at least three made threes and has shown he can heat up quickly from deep, as Alabama State’s own coverage noted when he scored all 12 of his points from beyond the arc.[1][2]
