veteran lefty giving LMU reliable innings and timely punch
In the 2026 season, Savannah Hooks has been a steady, flexible arm for Loyola Marymount, posting a 3-2 record with a 4.20 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 21.2 innings while working both starts and relief appearances. Her value goes beyond the line score: LMU’s coverage notes her longest outing in nearly a year came with five strikeouts, and she has also delivered scoreless, shutdown relief when the Lions needed calm more than flash. That combo of experience, poise, and left-handed versatility makes her a smart fit for teams wanting dependable depth with competitive edge.
